No‑Knead Dutch Oven Bread

Ingredients

  • 375 g bread flour
  • 300 ml water (room temp)
  • 1 tsp instant yeast
  • 1 tsp fine salt

Instruments

Large bowl,Dutch oven with lid,Parchment paper

Prepwork

Preheat the Dutch oven at 230°C for 30 minutes.

Steps

  1. Mix flour, yeast, and salt. Add water; stir until shaggy. Cover and rest 8–12 hours at room temp.
  2. Shape into a ball; rest 30 min while the oven heats to 230°C with the Dutch oven inside.
  3. Lift dough onto parchment, slash, and lower into hot pot. Bake 30 min covered, then 15 min uncovered.
  4. Cool 45–60 min before slicing.
